Terms & condition for Logo design
The Customer is solely responsible for preparing detailed information to our logo’s design briefing through email or the order form.
We are not responsible for any delays that occur in meeting deadlines that result in client/customer providing incomplete, partial information/content or for clients providing late/delayed feedback or response.
Colors: The logo designed will have a CMYK color model, unless client specifies any other color model.
File format: The source file will be in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) format. The fonts will be converted into outlines. Other formats sent will be JPEG (for screen view), PNG (for use in web), TIFF (CMYK Printable), EPS (scalable file for printing), GIF (RGB color file with transparent background) and PDF. Additional formats can be required upon request.
Logo Design Delivery
Our standard delivery time for first drafts is 3 (three) to 5 (five) business days depending on the complexity of client’s/customer’s project.
Revisions generally consist of 2-4 additional compositions that incorporate changes requested by the client/customer in the ‘revision brief’. The purpose of the revision process is to create designs that move forward in a specific direction as determined by the client/customer. Each revision stage takes 2 business days or less to complete, depending on the complexity of client’s requested changes.
Client shall have 2 weeks to respond to each set of concepts/revisions submitted to Client for review. If we do not hear back from client for more than 2 weeks, we will assume the project complete and the project shall be deemed to be complete. Once the final logo has been sent, no further changes available.
We will keep all logo file. If client needs a replacement copy please contact us and we will email a copy in a timely manner. If client needs a CD we will provide this for free and client just pays the shipping.
Full payment must be verified before design work is undertaken. When payment has been verified the client will be sent a confirmation email, marking the beginning of the design process. This will normally occur within one business day.
A 50% payment is due in advance of the commencement of any work by us. The remaining balance for design projects and services will be collected upon completion of final logo designs.
Logo Design Refund
If the client/Customer is not satisfied with the Initial Concepts provided by us Client may request a refund. The refund process may however take from 7 days to 21 days.
The following conditions under which we can’t provide a refund:
- If client has already confirmed or approved the acceptance of a design and asked for revision(s);
- If client has failed to communicate with us for more than 4 weeks;
- Once client has taken final delivery.
If a client receives a refund, s/he acknowledges that it will have no right to use any initial logo design concept provided by us. The copyright remains with us and the client is not allowed to use our designs even as a design reference.
On completion of the design process, the ownership and copyright of the final logo and stationery is automatically transferred to the client.
Unapproved draft logo designs shall remain the copyright of us.
